Carbis Bay Estate's Coastal Christmas Market on The Promenade
For the first two weekends in December, Carbis Bay Estate will be holding its annual Coastal Christmas Market, raising money for Cornwall Air Ambulance.
3rd - 4th & 10th - 11th December
During the two winter weekenders, the beach promenade will be bustling with Christmas craft stalls, artisan stands, live musical performances, a Santa’s grotto, and festive food and drink. With over 40 stalls each day and different stallholders each weekend, shop local and enjoy browsing the many Cornish seller's stalls for festive treats and gifts. NEW for this year, there will be TWO marquees to house a bigger and better shopping market, so we're sure they'll be something for everyone.
Children can have a go at festive Pottery Painting in our Beach Club restaurant 12 - 3pm on every market day (no need to book, just turn up!) or try building a bear or cuddly Christmas character with 'Cuddly Creations Teddy Bear Factory' (first weekend only). And of course, they can enjoy the most magical experience of all - meeting Father Christmas in our magical Winter Woodland-themed Christmas Grotto.
Raising money for the Cornwall Air Ambulance, there will be a fantastic raffle each day of the market, with the winners being announced at 5.30 pm each day.
Festive food will include giant pigs in blankets with cranberry and sprouts. Brie bites with cranberry and sprout, mince pies, Christmas cake, and more. Cheers with a Cornish cider or mulled wine and take a seat in our covered seating area next to the live music stage where local choirs and bands will be performing.
This is a FREE EVENT open to all! Open 12 - 6 pm first and second weekends in December. Join us in celebrating the arrival of Christmas.
