We'll lead the children on a day of activities, games and discovery, so you can treat yourself to some time out – perhaps visit the C Bay Spa or lose yourself in a good book.

St Ives is one of the most inspiring and uplifting places in Cornwall, and The Gannet Inn makes the ideal base from which to explore. From the hotel, take the train or walk the stunning coastal path into town before enjoying a piping hot pasty from one of the many independent cafes and eateries.
Little ones will love embarking on seaside adventures at nearby Carbis Bay beach, where they can run wild on the soft golden sand before spying hidden coves, cascading waterfalls and real-life shipwrecks at low tide. The sea is almost always calm and gentle, too, so bathing is safe.
Older kids itching to explore can set sail for themselves with a kayaking or paddleboarding expedition with the Ocean Sports Centre, located halfway along the beach.
Explore farther afield and discover more of what Cornwall has to offer. Famous Cornish landmarks are all within easy reach of the hotel, including the Minack Theatre, Kynance Cove, St Michael's Mount and Flambards Adventure Theme Park.
