Top Ten Things to Do in Cornwall This Spring

Spring has officially arrived and our short breaks are selling fast! Whether you're here with your family, as a couple, with friends, or even on your own, there's plenty to enjoy.

For holiday inspiration, things to do, and chocolate delights, here are just a few of our favourites...

Spring Walks

Spring is the perfect time to set afoot on the South West Coast Path - before the summer crowds have arrived, you can enjoy the vistas to yourself and get a first look at the beautiful flowers which adorn the coastline.

Did you know that the South West Coast Path ranks alongside New Zealand’s Milford Track, Chile’s Torres del Paine trek and Alaska’s Chilkoot Trail as one of the world’s most awe-inspiring hikes, according to Lonely Planet?

Hit the Cycle Trails

Ditch the car this Easter and explore St Ives and the stunning wilds of west Cornwall in a cleaner, greener way with St Ives E-Bikes.

Head west from St Ives for far-reaching views of the Atlantic and remote moors, or make a day of it and cycle along the Coast Road to Zennor. Pick up your bikes from their shop in St Ives, or have them delivered to the hotel for a small fee.

Spring Spa

Spring is the perfect time for a trip to the spa – it’s a chance to rejuvenate your body after winter's long hibernation and get that healthy glow for summer.

Indulge in the essence of the season with a Bamford Full Body Massage at the C Bay Spa. This therapeutic signature massage uses a combination of shiatsu and deep tissue techniques to increase circulation, soothe tight muscles and strengthen areas of concern, leaving you feeling radiant and ready for the spring sunshine.

Ocean Sports

There is no better way of exploring the beckoning blues of Carbis Bay than from the water, so why not drop by the Ocean Sports Centre and experience the Cornish coast from a different perspective?

If you haven't yet tried SUP, the usually calm waters of the bay are ideal for getting to grips with the basics of this popular sport. However, if you want to try something a bit different, hop onboard a four- or six-seater Hawaiian canoe for a guided coastal tour, during which you can spot marine life through underwater viewers, look out for dolphins and even surf a few small waves. All ages welcome.

Day Trip to the Isles of Scilly

Make the most of your stay with us this spring and enjoy a day out with a difference with day trips to the Isles of Scilly from £24 return. Sail from Penzance, fly from Land’s End Airport or enjoy the best of both with a Fly+Sail ticket.

The Isles of Scilly are just 28 miles off the coast of west Cornwall, close enough to visit for the day. Sail along Cornwall’s amazing coastline on Scillonian III from Penzance or fly Skybus from Land’s End and you will be on the Scilly Isles in good time for lunch. These stunning islands are fringed with sandy secluded beaches and crisscrossed with miles of trails and paths to walk, cycle or ride. The perfect day out!
