Carbis Bay Named as One of the Best Beaches in the UK

According to a recent study, Carbis Bay has been named one of the UK's most popular beaches.

Parkdean Resorts analysed TikTok data to see which are the most hash-tagged and viewed beaches on the popular social media app to reveal the Top 10 Beaches in England.

The beautiful, mile-long sandy beach at Carbis Bay Beach is one of Cornwall’s finest, with breathtaking views across to Godrevy Lighthouse and St Ives. The beach boasts a mile stretch of golden sand, making it an ideal spot to relax in the summer sun. On Tripadvisor, one visitor called the beach "beautiful", while another said: "The sand is so soft and the water is crystal clear."

Part of an array of beaches that make up St Ives Bay and listed as one of the world's best by the Most Beautiful Bays in the World Organisation, the beach at Carbis Bay is surrounded by sub-tropical plants and lapped by turquoise waters which just might just have you thinking you were somewhere much further south.

The beach has also been named one of Cornwall's nine award-winning Blue Flag 2023 beaches thanks to its cleanliness, safety and on-site facilities. Blue Flag is an international award managed by Keep Britain Tidy on behalf of the Foundation for Environmental Education. It is only presented to well-managed beaches with excellent water quality and environmental education programmes, while Seaside Awards are presented to the best beaches in England and celebrate the quality and diversity of our coastline.
