Things to do

Make the most of your stay at the Gannet and discover the best of West Cornwall and beyond.

Spring Walks

Spring is the perfect time to set afoot on the South West Coast Path - before the summer crowds have arrived, you can enjoy the vistas to yourself and get a first look at the beautiful flowers which adorn the coastline.

Did you know that the South West Coast Path ranks alongside New Zealand’s Milford Track, Chile’s Torres del Paine trek and Alaska’s Chilkoot Trail as one of the world’s most awe-inspiring hikes, according to Lonely Planet?

Hit the Cycle Trails

Ditch the car this Easter and explore St Ives and the stunning wilds of West Cornwall in a cleaner, greener way with St Ives E-Bikes.

Head west from St Ives for far-reaching views of the Atlantic and remote moors, or make a day of it and cycle along the Coast Road to Zennor. Pick up your bikes from their shop in St Ives, or have them delivered to the hotel for a small fee.

Spring Spa

Spring is the perfect time for a trip to the spa – it’s a chance to rejuvenate your body after winter's long hibernation and get that healthy glow for summer.

Indulge in the essence of the season with an Aromatherapy Associates signature Rose Facial at the C Bay Spa. This special treatment uses the healing properties of damask rose oil to help condition and deeply nourish the skin - leaving you feeling radiant and ready for the spring sunshine.

National Trust Easter Egg Hunts

Each year the National Trust organises Easter egg hunts at many of its properties in South West Cornwall. From identifying creepy crawlies to sniffing out floral scents, the trails have been designed to tickle the senses and immerse little ones in the natural world. Explore the glorious grounds to find clues and win a chocolate prize at the end.

Several nearby National Trust properties are taking part, including Trelissick, Godolphin, Trengwainton Garden and Glendurgan, so be sure not to miss out on the fun.

C Bay Kids' Club at Carbis Bay Estate

Easter is a wonderful time to visit Carbis Bay, the evenings are getting lighter, gardens are springing back to life and the days are that little bit warmer - plus there's so much to do! The C Bay Kids' Club at Carbis By Estate will be available during the holidays with a wide range of Easter art & crafts activities to suit all age levels, including an annual Easter egg hunt that takes place around the estate.
